This series is about a detective inspector with a hatred of beach life who arrives on the Caribbean island of Saint Marie. There, the detective has an aim to investigate a mysterious murder and he is only forced to stay on the island once the case closes. Like the famous trope dictates, he cooperates with local partner who does not like him in particular.
